Hi, I’m Stacey. As a little girl, I have always had a great passion and love for animals and that only grew as I got older. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017 in Portugal and moved to the UK in March 2018 when my application to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse was approved.
My career as a nurse in the UK started in a lovely small practice in Tunbridge Wells where I developed greatly as a Nurse, after being there for a year and a half I realized that I needed to move on to a busier practise as I wanted to further develop my nursing skills. I joined the fantastic Alcombe Veterinary Team in October 2019 as a Nurse and have been kept busy ever since! In April 2021 I became the new Head Nurse.
Animal welfare and ethics are hugely important to me, and patient happiness is paramount. My interests at work include nurse clinics, dermatology and nutrition. At home I have a tiny little dog called Nami (that I brought with me from Portugal!) and we love going for nice walks & she loves sharing fruit with me. I love to be out and about and seeing new places.
